The Oceano Experience

For the first time in Costa Rica, 11 of the most renowned artists and 4 of the most exclusive restaurants will come together in one event to create The Oceano Experience and introduce the unique concept behind the Oceano Hotel.
Some of the most notable artists participating in the event include Rolando Garita, Fabio Herrera, Manuel Zumbado, Alejandro (Tarzaan) Villalobos and Álvaro Gómez.
The two night event will be hosted by former Miss Costa Rica Johanna Fernández and will feature ocean inspired sculptures, paintings and photography. An impressive display of over 450 square meters of printed images will cover the walls of Casa de España at the capital San José.
Guests will enjoy gourmet tapas crafted by the country's leading chefs from MiSala, La Tasca, Inka Grill and Chateau 1525, accompanied by select imported wine.
This captivating event is a unique collaboration with ocean conservation giant MarViva, a leading foundation for ocean and marine life protection throughout Latin America. MarViva will receive a percentage of the proceeds from the art sales at the event, as well as benefit from a yearly donation of 1% of Oceano Hotel's annual income.
Leading design and construction companies such as Construplaza, Graniti Fiandre, Tecno Lite, Helvex, American Standard and many more, will showcase their select products representing the high quality of Oceano's interior design and finishes.
What turned out to be the biggest event of the year, has already stirred up quite a buzz, and estimates suggest that about 700 people are expected to attend the two night event.
The admission to event is free of charge, the only restriction is that guests must be over 28 years old and register to participate as admission is by guest list only.
